hi all,
i have a persistent rattling noise coming from the undercarriage on passenger side when im going over minor to major bumps in the road. it sounds like metal but i just cant find the source. i do have h&r sport lowering springs all around, could this noise be the result of a bad shock? please reply with personal experience and knoledgabe advice.
thanks a million,

Try pressing on the brake when you hear it. I have a similar sound from my right front that came when I changed the brake pads and goes away if I press the brake. I have Pagid and I assume they don't fit exactly like OEM on that side. I hope that's your issue and not a shock or front end joint of some kind which would cost $$ to fix. Good luck.

most likely sway bar link. or could be a loose brake pad, check if the retaining clip is loose or missing from the pad. and if you dont mind getting a little dirty you can reach under the car and tug on the sway bar ends, if the link is bad you will feel the play/knock.
