I searched for this already but nothing came up that would help me out....

Anyone whose has taken out their stock radio by themselves...
Any easy ways or tips to get it out quick and easy

I just need to replace something behind it so im gunna put it right back in, dont wanna break it..

Use a set of radio keys and it'll come out easily. There are 2 slots on the face of the radio, just put in the keys, press them towards each other and pull. It'll start sliding out.

I haven't had a stock radio for a while so I'm not 100% sure but this is what I remember from pulling out mine last time and also from my roommate's Jetta.

Dude, all you have to do is take a Pendaflex folder and separate the two metal hanging pieces from the rest of the folder.

Now you have a VW radio "key". Slide the ends of the metal pieces into the two slots on the front of the radio, push down and the radio will slide right out, no problems. :lol:

didnt think it would be that easy.... wit my experience i found the little things are the hardest wit VW's
