does such a thing exist im looking for one for my 2000 Passat anyone know if one even exists or can the stock rack be rebuilt and made into a quick ratio rack. so far my search has come up empty, any idea if an S4 rack is a different ratio than the A4 rack?

I have only seen quick ratio racks for the Golf and MK stuff. But I certainly don't know everything.

we have a pretty good rack, what do you want to do with a close ratio?

Early B5s did not have a steering angle sensor, nor any system or control module that would need such an input. Not sure what was available on the 2001.5 and forward B5s.
one that will turn the wheels farther with less input from the driver, me its mostly for autocross so that i can get around with less effort from the wheel.
why would there be an issue i have a 2000 with ASR as far as i know there is no steering angle sensor.
