Been looking into putting a power passenger seat with power back adjustment into my 2004 Passat TDI wagon. After an exhaustive search I was directed to Audi A6 as a bolt in.(?) My question now becomes what years of the Audi A6 will interchange? I have a line on a set of 2006 A6 power seats.

Because the B5.5 Passat turned B6 in 2006 (if I'm not mistaken) I'm left wondering if...B6 (newer gen) Passat seats still interchange? If the B6 is different will the 2006 Audi A6 bolt over?

Advise and experiences greatly appreciated

No the 2006 B6 passat and 2006 A6 seats are not direct bolt in however you can make them work with custom brackets made by someone with such skills. but from 1998 to 2004 A6/S6/C5 seats are direct bolt in no Mods needed except if your going from none power to power seats then you would have to do wiring to power seat. i did a 2003 A6 power seat swap from a 2.7t with sport bucket seats you can check those out real comfortable and less body movement while cornering.
