yellow would be a bit ricey, unless they were yellow stoptechs or something. go for the blue- it'll look nice

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your battery bay and engine covers from and how difficult where the modifications to get them to fit your B5?
Sir
Parts are VAG OEM

The battery-bay cover fits without any modding. The only thing to obey is, that there are two different brake fluid tanks; square shape (cover no.: 3B1 819 447 B B41), or like mine cylindric shape (cover no.: 3B1 819 447 B41).In each case you need a new windshield visor (be careful, breaks like glass, I do know  )3B1 819 415 EB 41.
ETKA No. of the small battery cover is: 3B1 819 422 A 01 C.
I was told that the cabin filter change is still possible but mor difficult, so i decided to change the cabin filter housing ( ^ 7) at once, without testing it.

Now the mods of the engine cover (passenger side):

You have to cut of the front plastick bracket of the cover (3B0 133 849 A):

Before:

After:

Then i made a double L-shaped bracket from a piece ot tin, looked where to place it on the air filter box, and fixed it with industrial collant. Now a clamp with ETKA No.:803 959 849 is needed, and has to be placed on the self-made bracket

(The clamp is sticked on my own made bracket, and clams on the original plastic bracket of the cover, which has been left)

On the left side of the cover is a horseshoe- looking clamp which grips into a rubber bushing. This bushing has to be changed also.
Part No.: 078 129 669 A (Rubber bushing)
078 133 861 D (Hull)
N 906 321 02 (Screw M 6)

Now drivers side cover ( 3B0 119 487 C) :

I had to cut of alittle bit of the cover, because on my TDI, there are two coolant pipes:

There also is a hidden pin, beneath this insulation you can use to fix the cover:

Now you have to drill two 6mm holes for the screws ( N 907 009 01)to fix the cover on the frontside.
The silver clamps you see, have to come with the cover!!!

Costs:
Battery-bay cover :roundabout 36€
Left engine cover : " 23€
Right engine cover : " 30€
Please excuse my poor English, hope it was not too creepy :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
