Hello All,

I last week I managed to change the indicator/cruise control on my B7 Passat and I was happy I managed it without setting the airbag off!

The problem I'm having now is that the seatbelt on the drivers side (front right here in the UK) could do with being replaced. I've ordered a replacement online but it has the wrong airbag connector. The one I have on my car at the moment has a much smaller connector like this:

all of the replacement seatbelts I can find online all have a much blockier connector like this:

I don't suppose any of you know what I'm doing wrong/ordering wrong?!

That'll do it. I assumed all B7 Passats were the same. Ordered the correct part and managed to fit it now. The garage quoted £450 to replace the seatbelt. Is that reasonable or expensive do you think? Just wondering whether I need to find a new garage!
