A friend of mine wants to race my Passat desperately. he says my passat is POS , blah , blah , blah.

He got a 1990 Cougar V6 with no engine mods.

I got a 1998 B5 with the 1.1 GIAC chip , no other engine mods.

Should i take the offer?

My car is manual. and hes car is not supercharged

The guy backed off the bet after a friend of his told him that my car would take his at anytime .

too bad cause i wanted to eat the Cougar for lunch..........

Ok . the guy wanted to do it anyway ( NO MONEY JUST LUNCH FOR A WEEK) yesterday so we raced on a private road by my workplace.

the first 2 seconds while i was in first gear he was keeping up with me . as soon as i put second gear in. in jumped in front of him and dusted him so bad .
I think i put a good 5 cars between me and him in a 1/8 mile distance, the good thing is we are still laughing at him cause everybody here at work saw the thing.....

He now wants to get his car supercharged so he can beat me.
