I have a 99 GLS. I disabled the DRLs using the "tape" method on the euroswitch. Was wondering if anyone has ever done the following and how did you do it?

I want to keep DRLs disabled until I turn on the parking lights (one click on euroswitch) Since the stock headlights don' t have the city lights, i wanted to get the same effect as city lights but using the DRLs.

Is this possible?

On a 99, I think the DRL's are the same intensity as the actual low-beams (they seemed that way with mine before projector install). You could just click the switch one more time and it'd be the same! :lol:

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.

On my 1999, I seemed to notice an intensity change between the DRLs and the low beams.

Actually there is a difference in intensity between DRLs and low beams. Check it out at night or in a garage.
