My Painted lowers are chipping and I have decided to remove the paint from just the parts on the doors. Any ideas or tips on how to remove the paint? Seems like when you want it there it chips and when you want it off it stays. It is proving to be a PITA to get off.

Thanks

Andrew

A great way to remove that paint without sanding or digging into the molding is with a power washer, if possible, one with a heated water option.
Not the ones at the car wash, a real one.
I scraped the sh!t out of some of my interior trying to get old paint off, it took me hours and looked horrible... then took the part out and laid it on the ground and just blew the paint off like no sweat... we live and learn I guess

Some low grit sand paper to rub most of it off, then some 400-600 grit sand paper (wet sand if you have the time) to wrap up to give a good finish. I reckon an hour should get all 4 pieces done reasonably nice.
