Like quality_sound and RAH said, clay bar. I had a year’s worth of overspray and other industrial fall out, from the shipyard, on my B5. The clay bar worked wonders!

Clay bar huh? Where do I get clay bar? And what about buffing it out, is that an option?
You can get a clay bar kit at places like AutoZone and Walmart from Meguiars and Mothers -- they're also available online. It comes with a clay bar and quick detail spray that you use to lube the area being clayed. DO NOT use the clay over a dry surface. Spray the quick detailer over a 2'x2' area and move the claybar back and forth with some pressure (I prefer up and down on side panels, doors, etc.). Buff of the remaining spray with a MF towel.

Depending on the amount of overspray, you might have to redo the same area a couple of times to completely remove it.

Also, since you're in HI, check out pakshak.com they might have a kit for you.
