Hi all,
Haven’t seen too much info on this for the B7, but originally I had the code P2402 pop (Evaporative Emission (EVAP) System Leak Detection Pump Control Circuit High). I replaced the Leak Detection pump with the Dorman part, reinstalled the charcoal canister, and cleared the dtc codes. After a few days of driving, P2450 popped and said my purge valve was stuck open. I replaced the purge valve with the SMP CP569 purge valve. I cleared the code and then drove a few more days and the same code popped back up, what now? I have a 2013 2.5l SE

I have had the exact same problem with 2012 passat 2.5L; I had the p2402 light coming up. I replaced it with generic part and the next day I got the engine light back on and code P2450. I checked the purge valve and it wasn’t holding suction. I replaced with a Bosch OEM part. I was getting P2450 in the permanent fault code but with no engine light. After a few days the engine light came back on with P2450. Checked the purge valve and it seems to be ok holding suction.

I was wondering if you figured out what is going on with the light coming back on.
