My car is a 2001.5 1.8T, auto, Wett chip, TT Diverter valve, K&N drop in.
I had code....
P1128 Long Term Fuel Trim mult.,Bank1 System too Lean
P1137 Long Term Fuel Trim Add.Fuel,Bank1 System too Rich

I changed my o2 sensor, then I cleaned the MAFS, the check engine light went away in two days..... then it came on again yesterday. I have not check the new code yet...........My boost peaks at 6 psi, next day at 16 psi, then back to 6 psi. It's almost as the Wett chip shuts down? Any suggestions ?
Thanks .........Ted

Glad to hear it's working now!

The error code trims are the exact opposite of what would normally happen with a vac or boost leak (vac leak would tend to make the add trim too lean and a boost leak would tend to make the mult trim too rich).

Mult trim too lean is the typical symptom of a MAF failure. Did the 16psi vs. 6 psi max boost problem go away with the new MAF sensor?
