For some reason, i have it stuck in my head that our 1.8t's have a cast crank.

Also, in case anyone was wondering, the crank and the rods are the same on the aeb and atw. intake cams the same for aeb and atw; i/e valves and exhaust cam same for aeb atw and aug.

in case you couldn't tell, i was bored and scrolling through etka.

if its a AEB then it should be forged... not shure about the rest of 1.8t

i think the rods from AEB have 20mm wrist pin and the rest have 19mm pins
