I prefer the 24 hour clock in my car, as opposed to am/pm. My wife's BMW can do it (in addition to Celsius/km). Can you switch over the OBC clock to a 24 hour format? Thanks. ;)

You can, but IIRC when you do that your odometer will go from miles to kilometers...

You need a Vag-Com to recode the instrument panel.

Recode the instrument cluster to Great Britain and you retain miles for the odometer reading but gain the 24 hour clock. The downside(?) is you'll now be using MP(UK)G and not MP(USA)G.

Using VAG-COM;

Click the Select Module button
Click the button for module 17 - Instruments
Click the Recode button.
Write down the code number in the box.
Ignore the Workshop Code box - don't mess with it.
The third digit in the code number is the country code. The codes are:
1: Europe (EU)
2: USA
3: Canada
4: Great Britain
5: Japan
6: Saudi Arabia
7: Australia
Change the third digit to match the country code you want to use, then Save and exit.

The UK settings will delete the key in ignition/door open warning too. Works great if your door lock module is broken.

Can my wife still drive the car if I load the "Saudi Arabia" country code? :)
