So I was looking to get Weather Tech floor liners for the front only - $110.00. Granted it's Texas and usually don't have more than rain to worry about. I volunteer for Meals On Wheels deliveries - my own dedicated route on Tuesdays and sometimes fill in for others. Mud is more my concern than snow. One delivery can be in an urban setting and the next one can be more rural, or even just a muddy, unpaved driveway. Someone posted these on the Sonata forums and I checked them out. 3DMAXpider. Available in "kagu rubber" and a carpet top version. I went with carpet top. Normally around $86 for the front set, I landed one seller with one set left for $68 with tax and free shipping. Fit perfectly and look great.

I am getting 3DMAX Spiders for my R. I already have some R Line emblems to replace the 3D emblems. A lot of the Golf R guys have gone with them over the Weathertechs.

I considered the Weather Tech long and hard, but then after Salty commenting that his don't fit properly after not being that old, these seemed worth a shot.

Hmm now you got me thinking. Should I get the LIMITED badges - $13 each, or go for the 2.0T emblems lol.

True. I thought about a little black rtv on the back side or hot glue a piece if rubber sheeting. That's kind of why I'm leaning towards that T-GDI grille emblem. I can re-purpose the one hole. make another and still do the same. Since it comes with that flat black rear support plate, a little glue or rtv between that and the mat should suffice.
