Base price on the two is about the same.. $19k, however there's a lot of options you can get on a MINI you can't get on a GTI - like navigation and HIDs. MINI is a lot more fun, but the GTI is probably "more car."stealthx32 said:Cuz GTIs are overweight pigs. :lol:And where in the world did you get the idea that a GTI was cheaper than a Mini Cooper S? From what I gather, a stripped GTI = a fully loaded Cooper...
Where in the world .....everywhere. I seen Minis go for alot more then GTIs since the demand is so high and dealers just overprice them. I think it went down already but still GTI 1.8t retails for about 19k so does the mini S....so where are you getting your numbers from?stealthx32 said:Cuz GTIs are overweight pigs. :lol:And where in the world did you get the idea that a GTI was cheaper than a Mini Cooper S? this is exactly what I was thinking. If you are trying to save money than the Boxter is the wrong way to go especially one that doesn't have a warranty. Not that I'm saying that they can't be dependable but if the person that had it before didn't take care of it then alot of costly problems can happen. Like I stated in your last post you could go with a GTI or an Acura RSX both have their faults but the both can be great cars. also note that the mini is a great car but I would avoid the boxter if you were trying to save money.Z28Driver said:somehow I'd wage to guess the money you'd save on car you'll make up in insurance...seems like you are changing from wanting to save money to just wanting a different car
