Hey all! Just wanted to introduce myself. :D I just bought 2002 VW Passat GLS 1.8t last week. Silver w/black leather and 20% tint all around. Love the car, although my sister drives it more than I do. Right now just trying to find somewhere to inspect my car that'll pass me with my tint. It's illegal here in Jersey to have your front windows tinted. :p but that won't stop me.

its not leagl here in California to have any tint on your front windows, but 99% of people do anyway!

Just do it!

As for the inspection this isn't an easy task in Jersey either take the front tint off and have it redone after inspection or see if you could find someplace that can do it privately.

I took the tint off when I had to get my Jetta inspected and when I got it re-tinted it didn't match. I don't want to go through that again, so I'm tryin' to find someplace to do it privately.

Wish I could help you but unfortunately, I don't know of any places maybe some of the other memebers might be able to assist.
