New here, looks like the place to be. Camshaft position sensor issue, possibly

Unfortuntaely I'm coming here due to car issues in our 2014 passat 1.8 tsi. The check engine light came on and its running rough. I took it to autozone, and they said it was the camshaft position sensor. Anyone have any tutorials on how to swap that out? It looks like it was easy on older generations, but haven't seen anything about the newer models.

Also is it worth it to go to a better diagnostics spot? I know the cheaper handheld devices can be wrong.
