Hello fellow duberrs.. I recently started hearing a creeking sound while accelerating in my 5.5 V6 GLX. I thought it was the snub mount but looking thru photos while looking for a DIY I saw one that looked like mine and they said it was good. So is there supposed to be a space where the snub mount goes?

As you can see I got a teeny bit of movement :lol:

Looks like you need new motor mounts.

How do your main mounts look? Are the brackets coated with some dark-purple ooze?

I believe they were replaced last year. They look new.

Well, I would have them checked. You have some odd engine movement.

I just checked my receipts when I had my motor swapped and all it mentions is "engine mount stop"

So can I rule out snub and focus on motor mounts?
