Yesterday My boss and I visited George Barris Customs. George Barris is responsible for the design and creation of over 60% of the vehicle used in movies since the late 1940's. His attributes include classics like all of the Batmobiles, the Monkee Mobile, Knight Rider, The Dukes of Hazard Car, Dragula, the Munster Coach, Trucks from the Fall Guy, Bo Dekkiks "Barrister", all of the vehicles from the Power rangers and many many more... This trip was a walk thru history and we spent housr there looking thru all of the old movile clips and ads and his thousands of star photos with him and the vehicles of the silver star film and the actors who drove them....

Pretty cool, but I liked looking at all of the old movie posters, some of those were real stinkbombs like "Corvette Summer" and "W.W. and the Dixie Dance Kings." In the 2nd pic it looks like Herman Munster's hot rod has a leaky rear end.

It is getting ready for a full frame off rebuild and restoration.... basically getting rid of all of the movie bs and making it a full show vehicle...
