I also have an `06 B6 with the same system you have. About 4 years ago, I complained to my dealer about poor air conditioning. They determined the evaporator was leaking and had to be replaced. They did and it got a little better but not like new. I just had my current dealer look at it again. They checked pressure which was OK. They decided to completely drain down and evacuate the system and recharge it. Wallah... My air works better than ever before. With the temps outside above 85F and even after the car sits in the sun, all I do is set temp for like 64F on AUTO and within a few minutes, the car is comfortable. I believe what might have happened is when the evaporator was changed, they never evacuated the system, just recharged it with air still in it. That's my opinion. I have not asked my dealer if that was possible. You might try that... Good Luck.
