MK5 or MK6 Heater Control Knobs in B5 B5.5 Passat
I searched all over, and figured someone would have tried this, but I found nothing. So, either its impossible, or no one has tried it.
What got me started on this was that my heater control knobs got scratched up with my recent stereo install, and I got to looking at the knobs in the Mk5 and Mk6 (with the silver pieces on each side), and they look to be simlarly sized, but not sure if there is function behind each knob that would require modification, etc.
I can obviously just swap over some new knobs, or even just a clean control panel, but I thought I would check to see if anyone had done this or had experiencing failing, etc.
