Could be something as simple as jumped timing. If your engine is truly worn out that sucks. How often did you change your oil? I do it every 5,000 instead of VW's recommended 10,000. Seems like cheap insurance.

While on a long drive the car EPC turned on, car lost power. So initially I thought the problem was the ignition coils and spark plugs, since I was getting misfire codes, and thats exactly what it felt like, I changed those and was still dealing with misfire issues and symptoms. I went ahead and did a compression test, cyl [email protected] psi, cyl [email protected] not even registering, cyl [email protected] and cyl [email protected] psi, so I am thinking bad head, I am thinking I might just get a new engine.

every 5k too, pentosil euro beld full synth, what I did realize after changing the coils is that the sparks where really used, I somehow missed to replaced them ever I think. I'm hoping to get some time this weekend to remove the heads, and have them tested.Could be something as simple as jumped timing. If your engine is truly worn out that sucks.
