While on a long drive the car EPC turned on, car lost power. So initially I thought the problem was the ignition coils and spark plugs, since I was getting misfire codes, and thats exactly what it felt like, I changed those and was still dealing with misfire issues and symptoms. I went ahead and did a compression test, cyl [email protected] psi, cyl [email protected] not even registering, cyl [email protected] and cyl [email protected] psi, so I am thinking bad head, I am thinking I might just get a new engine.

Could be something as simple as jumped timing. If your engine is truly worn out that sucks. How often did you change your oil? I do it every 5,000 instead of VW's recommended 10,000. Seems like cheap insurance.

every 5k too, pentosil euro beld full synth, what I did realize after changing the coils is that the sparks where really used, I somehow missed to replaced them ever I think. I'm hoping to get some time this weekend to remove the heads, and have them tested.
