I don't know if this is a repost, but this would be a nice remider if it was a repost! From Slickdeals.net:

Mercedes, Volvo & Mazda Test Drive Events
There are test drive events coming up where you can stomp the gas and push the vehicles to its limits in a coned track. Some freebies are given out at the events too. Must be 21+ years old.

If you just want to test drive an RX-8 all day, it won't cost you anything. :D However, if you want to take part in the competition, it's $40.

I'm in on the Benz event on Sunday 3-5pm session and on the Volvo Shea stadium on Sat 1-3pm session.
These events are great. Lots of good free stuff and food too. Well worth the free admission.
Mazda revitup it too much money for nothing. YOur better off just joining an AutoX group for the same fee.

Once again, the only part of the Mazdarevitup that costs money is the competition in the 3. Everything else is free including driving the vehicles. You don't need to pay to do the other things.

I went to the Benz one last year. It was a lot of fun, they had some nice tracks set up, and you could drive around them in any of the cars (except the AMG :( ). Even for the AMG they have a pro driver take you out, loads of fun.
