Hi all, I new to the site.
Could anyone tell me if my map sensor was faulty would my Passat be going into limp mode..
I got a remap done on my Passat, the guy ran a dynastic on it and a fault showed up saying map sensor.
Just a small bit confused on this one. Anyone's help would be appreciated thanks

the error codes your cars computer is throwing. Like P0302. To get these you plug a code reader in under the dash (most cases) and it lists alphanumeric codes that vastly narrow down what could be wrong with the car. A specific group of codes can point directly to what the problem is or it can give a good place to start.

Year? Options? (GLS) Motor? (1.8, 2.0, etc)

Nope. MAP is Manifold Absolute Pressure; basically boost pressure.

I don't see any problem with Rb5's post, but yours is offensive.

The default assumption is that anyone serious enough to have done mods on their Passat will have their own copy of VCDS, not be sending someone else's year-old screen captures. After all, a free version is available. The poster was making a helpful suggestion based on that logic.

On the other hand, someone who can't take the trouble to rotate and properly size an image before sending it...
