Bought some CRC MAF cleaner for my VR6 and it really cleaned the "gunk" off of the sensor plate. MAF sensor still doesn't work, but man is it ever clean! Guess it's time to find someone with a used MAF sensor for a 98 VR6. I wish I'd bought some of this CRC miles ago when I changed the MAF on my Passat, might have saved $300!
