I'm purchasing a 99 B5 with KW Variant II suspension. The previous owner said there was too much negative camber up front and it was eating the insides of the tires.

I'd like to drop the car slightly lower first and then have the alignment done.

Are there any suggestions for where to have this done? How much should I expect to pay?

Hmm... are you saying camber is not adjustable on the multilink suspension?

I know it's adjustable on McPherson strut suspensions... Ugh..

How do you guys with lowered Passats handle tire wear? Is everything OK? My friend (who I'm buying the car from ) says that the insides of his front tires get torn up.

i dont believe it is without adjustable control arms. you might be able to tweak it some, but not much. just the price you pay for handling better and sitting lower

Yikes... do other lowered B5 owners have excessive wear on the inside front tires?

Does anyone make adjustable control arms?
