That happened to me no matter if the car was running or not. I had a bad door lock switch so if closed the door hard enough it would trigger the auto roll up for the windows and lock the doors. A triple A rep came and slim jimed my car open but it wasnt easy for him , he almost gave. He even told me I should call the dealer and give the vin number so I can get a key. I made him try one more time and he was able to open the car.
