Hey, gang. 2012 SE owner here. Actually, we have two -- his and hers.

Does anyone use leather cleaner/conditioner on their V-tex seats? Is there anything in a quality leather cleaner/conditioner that would make it worth using on the V-tex? Or, on the flip side, is there a good reason why I should not use this type of product -- anything in these that would harm the V-tex?

We traded a Lexus RX330 that had leather seats for the second Passat last spring and I have a Meguiar's leather product left over. Should I just toss it in the trash?

Modern leather car interiors are vinyl coated leather anyway, I suspect the products would work equally well on both leather and v-tex.

I've been using Meguiars on the CC (first vinyl car I've owned) and it seems to work fine. Vinyl cleaner may hold a slight edge in cleaning power, but as far as damaging the material is concerned, I think you should be fine.
