I believe that my lower control arms have given up the ghost (99 with 83K) as I'm getting the "clunk" when starting and stopping. I just did the upper control arms and the nosie is still there, so I'm figuring it's the lowers.

Bentley has a write up on how to replace the track control link, which is the front LCA, but there is no write up on the guide link, which is the rear LCA.

It seems that its pretty straightforward. I'm wondering if there are any gotchas I should be aware of. I know you have to torque at ride height just like the uppers but is there anything else that's not covered by the Bentley?

Thx

You will have to drop the subframe a bit if you have trouble removing the bolt attaching the CA to the subframe... The bolt gets caught on the unibody.
