I bought a set of these used and I got them today and I think I am missing alot of parts. I was hoping that somone that has these or has installed a set could tell me or show me what parts I should have. If you have install instructions for a KW variant 2 that would be a huge help. Thanks

the only thing you should have gotten with the kw v2's, or atleast the only things that i got with my kw v2's from KW were the shocks and the springs without the top collars, without any mounting hardware without a bump stop. basically, the shocks and springs and thats it. i had to take apart my stock coilovers (im a 4mo) to get the colars and the bump stops and then compress the kw springs on top of the kw shocks with the stock stuff on top.

i used to have a pic of the box but cant find it now. i believe every kit (for the diffrent model passats) is diffrent, but that is how my W8 kit came from KW
Yup basically you get 4 shocks, 4 springs, 2 adjusters for rear if FWD, 2 flat silicone rings that go on top of the front spring seat, where the springs will sit on. some crappy spray to put on the threads (don't use it).
jeffsu wheres the pics man, I clicked website link and did not see ish. :eek:h:

dunn0 if this helps or not but I got everything they claim minus the spray. I only have v1's though .
coils

This is what I got:

2 rear shocks(adjustments made by allen key/push down)
2 front struts(same adj as rears)
4 springs(look to be progressive)
Front struts have two rings/one for adj and other is lockI assume
Rears have this black cup that appears to sit in the bottom of the pech. The rear cups also have a adj ring on it.
Two big fibre rings that fit on top of the front adj rings(one on each side)
Also two big rubber washers that fit between the spring and the rear perch.
What do I use from my stock system?
If anyone has instructions I will pay for them if need be.
If you have any pics of them on your car or off, please send them my way.
Thanks for the help

REAR: You reuse the OEM lower black rubber spring seat. You don't use the OEM upper cap. The adjuster sits on top and not the bottom. Install exactly like this.

You also reuse your OEM Bumpstops/dustcap for the rears.

FRONT:
reuse the bumpstop/dustcover and OEM upper rubber spring cap.

Basically what Ed said. Please let me know when you are going to call Tom at ECS for the repair so I can set everything up for you.
