Key for wheel lock nuts missing!!! Need help!

I just realized that the key for the factory GLX wheel lock nuts mysteriously disappeared from inside my car. I called the dealership to see if they could order another key. They said they need a code that's either printed inside my owner's manual or one that's stamped on the wheel nuts (took them a week to figure that one out) -- I couldn't find anything in the owner's manual and I couldn't see anything stamped on the lock nuts.

I'll be taking it to the dealership first thing in the morning so that they could find out the code to order it. Does anyone know another way of finding the key code?
Thanks!

Hammer a T70 torx gently into the locking lug and it will come out easy (picked up a set of impact torx at Harbor Freight for about $30). Replace it with a standard lug. Those locking lugs are a pain in the ass and will only discourage teenagers, not real thieves anyway.
Good information, Mr. Wells. I'm sure someone that wasn't part of that discussion nearly a decade ago can use it. ;)

I bought my 2002 Passat about a month ago and spent a while searching forums looking for a solution without much luck, so I'm hoping this might help someone else who is in the same boat.

Real thieves would carry all 15 of those lock key thingeys.
Or a portable MIG welder. When my father destroyed my old key (I TOLD him not to use it with the impact gun!), we just welded bolts onto the remaining ones and took them off with a ratchet.
Decades old posts...

I think it's very important to provide good answers to questions, even if they are very old. Someone (like me) are looking for this same information now, and that answer was very helpful!

These posts don't die, and it's important to note how this information will be valuable historically for years to come.

Bought my 2001 last summer. Just found out I am missing the wheel lock key, so 10 years later or not, his suggestion is still worthwhile.
My farking mechanic lost my keys too. Now I can't change my tires, so does the hammering with T70 torx work?

How many splines on your lock?

I went and bought a brand new #4 15 spline key on Friday and took car to shop yesterday. Had them replace the lock lugs with standard lugs. No longer need/want the key.

Bought $35.00
Use to remove 4 lugs
$25.00
