I'm trying to pull the k wire out so my vag-com will work.

is the k-wire green with purple? and if it is, how do you pull it out?

Is the K-wire even hooked up? Just because it's in the harness doesn't mean it connected to anything. Before you go ripping things out do the test on the Ross-Tech site and see if you're getting voltage on the K-wire.

yeah it's connected, i talked to my veedub dealer and he's saying it's gray but i'm seeing a green and purple one...... so he told me to call back in 20 mins so he could check the diagrams.....humph

Thanks Paul.... I tried everything, didn't work. I think it's the cable that's the problem. I"m gonna try it on B's car tomorrow (o22ripper) and the jetta so we'll see what's really up.......thanks for all your help tho!

No sweat. Hopefully using the siftware I got with mine instead of the Ross program I Dl'd will solve my problem cuz I'll be pissed if I got ripped off on this board.

who did the install on your car? all it is the blue wire on the harness. make sure thats not connected...
