Sweet Ride

I have a very similar 2003 4motion wagon. Same color. I am new here as well. Just ordered new 17x8.5 Hamann Opera wheels. How did you post your pictures. I would like to do the same. Hope to see you around. I live and work in SW PDX. :)

Thanks for the kind words. I have plans to do much more but I have to let me wallet catch up. I have Kamei eye lids sitting on my garage just waiting to be painted. But I'm going to wait until I can get one of those M3 style deck spoilers and get everything painted at once.

DJ all you have to do to post pics use the

Very nice!! Where did you buy the wheels? I've been looking at those myself (as RAH mentioned earlier), and I've been talking to Spyeng.com, it would run about $1699 shipped.

Tint I believe is 20% and I love it. Not too dark in my opinion.

I got the wheels from www.wheelstudio.com $1450 shipped
Nice guys and good prices.

I'll try to make the gathering.. but I travel a ton for work and race shifter karts in the weekends.. so I'm a little over extended. Still would love to meet more B5 drivers.

Better price than what Spyeng.com was quoting me, but then they were going to wrap them in Toyo Proxe 4's, so maybe that would cost extra through the wheelstudio. How are you enjoying the Falkens, are they fairly quiet? Do they handle well? Also, where did you get your blue side mirrors? I've been thinking of doing that mod as well, I think it will look good with my blue silver color.

Lookin' good. I still need to decide on which wheels to get for my '04 silverstone GLX... so many excellent choices. Those Axis look great!

Who tinted your windows? Are you happy with the work they did? I'm just a ways down route 5 and looking for a good tint shop.

Here is a link to pictures of my car with the tinted windows

Summer has come and it is once again a great time for a Get Together here in the Pacific Northwest.

This is for our 2nd Annual Pacific Northwest Get Together, which will be held in Ocean Shores Washington on the week-end of the 23rd and 24th of July. Last year’s event brought 13 B5 and B5.5 together from Washington, Oregon and British Colombia and was a good success. We are planning for a bigger and better event this year.

It will be a two days event but everyone is welcome to come for both days or 1 day if that’s all the time you have. All details have not been worked out just yet but as it stands right now, the 23rd will be the drive down (or up, depends where you are coming from) and we would all meet at a designated location. We would find our accommodations and do some activities that evening. On the following day the 24th July, we would do a drive and BBQ and find our way home after that.

To find all details and progress on this event, please go to the following link http://www.passatworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=178550 and don’t forget to sign up while you are there. It will be updated weekly. This event will be a lot of fun and another great excuse to gather our beloved Passats and see each other again or meet new people as well.

If you need any other help or information, you can contact me (Yannick) at [email protected] or Alex at [email protected] .

Sincerely; Yannick/ Rah on Passatworld
