Should I do it? I always liked the blacked out look of the M5 headlights... so do you think it would look good on my HID's?


If I do take off the headlight housing, is there a possibility of having fog and condensation inside the lens? I hate that.

And could someone give me a link on how to do this to a Passat? Thanks.

I think only 2-3 people have done it on the b5.5. Ville, 1edyson, nuisance. On the 5.5, it's one nearly impossible to separate the lense from the housing. With all the curves, etc. it'll take A LOT of patience and alot of burns.

It's a very time intensive project (separating the housings). You might PM them and get their feedback, but it's definitely more difficult than the B5's. You could experiment with some stock headlights first
