I'm going to do a timing belt replacement on my AEB soon. I changed both cam seals when I did the chain tensioner seal. I'm planning to do the crank seal, but I'm not sure whether I should do the intermediate seal (the shaft that runs the oil pump). I couldn't find a procedure for it, but I'm guessing it just involves removing the sprocket and pulling the seal. Has anyone done this? Is it necessary?
