I've had my sweet 2001 Passat for 2 months.

I've read some threads about interior windshield condensation when driving, but my problem is interior window condensation in the morning and at night - this just started as the Northern California rains increased and temps dipped this week.

My windshield is clean - what else could be causing this and how do I fix it?

Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Does it clear up with the A/C on?....

Dew point and temperature are important to consider. As per the previous post, check under you floor mats to make sure you don't have a leak. Make sure the sun roof drains are clean and drain well. Make sure the drain for the A/C evaporator is not leaking. Check to make sure the drain under the battery is not clogged with leaves/dirt/debris.
