Does anybody have the following information:
(1) weight of each piece of H&R 12mm spacer;
(2) do you find wheel mounting more difficult to handle with H&R spacer on the wheel hub, particularly on alignment of bolt holes, and coupling together of the wheel centre bore with the centering ring of the spacer?

Yes, i have a piece of "guide stick" which came with my B5.5 inside the tool pack in the trunk. I have never needed it changing wheels. I don't find it very helpful maybe because I'm not using spacers.

But I'm thinking about spacers now.
My question is if I use H&R spacers, can I still change wheels without the help of such guide stick or other special tools?

TIA !!

It takes some getting used to to get the wheels on with spcers, but once you do it easy to just change the wheels without any problems.

Just make sure if you get a spacer over 10mm that you get longer bolts to go with it. Oh and i really like my H&R spacers. You pay alot more for them but your really don't want to cheap out in the area IMO. Be sure whatever spacers you get that they have a place for the hub centric ring to go.

Thanks for the above replies, those are the answers that i want to get.
I'm thinking about H&R 12mm spacers. I've seen from pics shown in other threads that they do have hub centering rings.

So anyone who happens to know the weight of a 12mm H&R spacer?

I have 15mm on the fronts of my b5 the weight is not even a factor. They are way less that a pound. Why do you want to know?
