Patrol competes with LX470/Land Cruiser in other markets. We are getting an enlarged Pathfinder this fall.

Yup, those Patrols are bad ass. Amazing they even fit on the roads there next to all the Civics, Corollas, and Sentras.

X-Trail is the RAV4, CR-V and Forester competitor. So far, its not available on Stateside yet.
Xterra is a more capable SUV with low-range gearset that competes with Liberty.
Pathfinder will be competing with the already enlarged 4Runner.
Armada competes with Sequoia, on the other hand, QX56 competes with GX470.

Patrol with luxurious features compete with prestigous SUVs like Rangie and Land Cruiser/LX470 elsewhere.

Patrol competes with LX470/Land Cruiser in other markets. We are getting an enlarged Pathfinder this fall.

I don't think the Patrol is in the same class as the LX470. The current Infinity QX56 (souped up Nissan Armanda) is the counter to the LX470. The QX56 is a very nice full size luxo SUV, and it is selling like hot cake for Infinity. Interior quality is not quite as nice as the LX470, but power train & size wise, the QX56 gives you the best bang for your buck.
