I did a search and nothing came up.

I just got an Ignition Coil Failure form in the mail....It states:

If you experienced ignition coil failure and visited a VW dealer for repairs, you have the right to share in the settlement fund. To particiapate, please indicate below whether you want to receive cash or a dealer credit and mail this form no later than May 21, 2004.

Form of payment (Check one box below)
--Cash payment (how much do I get?)
--Dealer Credit (115% of cash value)

I'm sure a few members have received this...what did you do?

thanks

I had a '99 Passat I bought used that cost me over $500 to fix the ignition. I traded that car on a '03 v6. Would I be entitled to compensation? Who should I contact?

feilo--yeah I saw that thread on my search but wasn't sure if it was the same thing...so what are you going to do?
Steeler,
Nothing. I have not had any coil pack failures and they were replaced under the recall anyway. LOL with whatever you decide to do. BTW, I have the text of the letter in 2 pdf files. If you like, I can email them to you. PM me with your email address if you want the text.
