what do you guys think. buying a 2004 GLS 1.8t this weekend. Gonna go with the 1.9% 60 mos. financing. with it being this cheap to finance i imagine i shouldn't put too much down.
I would not make the term of the loan greater than the B2B warranty - 48 months. Try to put enough down make your payments affordable for 48 months. Just my $0.02.
not trading in. i've been seeing here and other boards that i can probably get the 1.8t for probably about 21.5 or 22. bring it to 23.5-24 with taxes and fees.
I bought an '04 GLS Variant last weekend for $23000 and will be paying $364 a month for 66 months at 1.9%...We put $1750 total down between cash and trade ('95 Saturn with 120+k).
I went to the stealership not too long ago and on a GLS my payments would be 360 with no money down. Of course, I already own a VW so that's an extra 1000 bux off with the loyalty discount !
so essentially, i'm not gonna have to put anything down, huh? what was the invoice on the variant. i'm gonna try and get 500-1000 under invoice before my 1000 owner loyalty.
