daughter totaled b6. blew both front airbags, front end damage, tires flat, right rear damage. can't open hood, trunk, or right rear passenger door.


how much is the going rate for scrap? lol ( l laugh because my wallet makes me sad )

Depends on:
1. How much spare time you have
2. Whether you have garage space for the 5 to 7 months it will take to sell the in-demand parts you pull before calling the scrapper.

If answers to the above are not suitable, let the insurance co. cut you a check.

neither of the above. unfortunately I had collision, not comprehensive on this, as it was my kids car and I got it cheap. my rule of thumb has always been if it's 3k or less, collision is the right option. I might have to rethink that :/
