I'm just wondering how many are using a manual boost controller in the same loop as the N75 to limit boost spikes? Has it been effective?

I'm APR 91 chipped and see spikes up to 18 psi...I don't know if I'm comfortable with it spiking that high. I've also read that that's outside the turbo's efficiency range.
