I noticed it on mine this year on my 2001.5 whichs makes it 5 yrs for me.
:cry:
I'd tried the wet sand method and had ok results but now considering new Angel Eyes from the group buy. I wonder how long those will last until the haze comes to town? :confused: :confused:

Mine lasted 3 years appx. I just bought some new lights but still havent installed them. Probably have a detailer work on the old ones sometime in case I want to switch back.

my 98 had horriable hazze not just yellow, but brown!!

wwet sand very fine, and plastic polish brought it almost new. now just a little polish every 5 washes or so

i want new lights tho these are gay lookin

have an 00,and 01 passat still OEM headlights,neither have any problem,still clear as new,maybe its the enviroment or garage having longevity in the apperance factors in life span of certain items

It's UV that yellows them.

makes me wonder whether or not applying something like 303 aerospace protectant would help. looks like i may have found a new use for it :)
