with all the talk about VW coilpack thing......comes a hit from Honda.

Reuters / June 30, 2004

TOKYO -- Japan's third-biggest automaker, Honda Motor Co., said on Wednesday
it plans a recall of some 640,000 vehicles worldwide due to suspected defects
with transmission and fuel pump systems.

The recall will cost an estimated $74.84 million.

Of the total, Honda said it will recall about 500,000 Accord, Acura TL and
Acura CL models in the United States, while recalling 38,000 in Canada.

Honda will also recall some 68,000 units of five models including Odyssey
minivans in Japan, and some 11,000 elsewhere in Asia.

The rest of the recalls will be in the Middle East and Mexico.

Can you use badass in the past tense?
I think grammatically he should have used most bad ass rather than baddest ass. Its not so much a past tense thing as it is a comparative.

For example:

Ricer 1: My civic is bad ass.
Ricer 2: Well my civic is more bad ass.
Ricer 3: You guys suck, my civic is the most bad ass of all the civics in the land.

vs.

Ricer 1: My civic was bad ass until I crashed it street racing.
Ricer 2: My civic was more bad ass until you crashed into me.
Ricer 3: My civic was the most bad ass until my oversized wing and racing decals fell off of the trunk and doors.

First is present tense with correct grammar.
Second is past tense with correct grammar.

Intresting, I thought they had already had their recall for this issue.

one thing I will say, I have had close friends who have dealt with recalls from both honda and Toyota, and in both cases the recalls were done quickly and professionally.

somthing that can't be always said of VW's recalls....
