Hi guys

I have a key fob model HL0 1J0 959 753 F, the old style 3 button with no chrome ring at the bottom.

I currently have CR1620's in it right now which are completely smoked. I was wondering if CR2032's fit in these, or if it's only 1620's? And what is the original size?

Thanks,
Elliott

2032 batteries are much bigger than 1620 batteries, therefore not interchangeable.
Some remotes are 6V and use 2 x 1620, some other remotes are 3V and use 1 x 2032.

Thanks. Yea now I see they're 4mm bigger in diameter and a bit bigger in height. I was under the assumption that there was 2x2032 in the newer fobs but you're right only 1.

The CR... battery numbers actually mean something: the first two numbers are the diameter in mm, the last two numbers are the thickness in 0.1 mm. Thus, a CR2032 is 20mm diameter, 3.2mm thick, etc.
