Today in the morning, I realized that the side mirror switch of my 2002 passat was lying on the driver seat floor. I have no idea how I broke it as I have been extremely careful on it. So I have to replace it in a near future. Anyone know how much it will cost me to fix if taking it to the dealer? I find a place to buy the switch online (cost $30). But unfortunately I dont know how to take the door off and afraid to break anything if do it incorrectly. Anyone have any experience on this?

I tried to use a mini-driver to pop it out but was unsuccessful!! Actually tried on it for over an hour....

it pops out, just gotta put some force to it. I put dents in the plastic trim the surrounds it, but what else can you do?
