It's the standard checklist for any starting problem. An engine needs spark, fuel and compression. You can borrow a compression tester and most parts stores with a deposit.
bout to head to the parts store to rent one also while messing with the car this morning found that my fuel pressure regulator is leaking.

Fix the FPR, clear the codes and see how it runs.

Dry, cold or warm? Either way, 30psi is really low. I make sure the engine is warm, throttle open and do a wet test after the dry just to confirm.

Ok, that's a real issue. You can try a wet test to see if the rings are stuck but you might also have a bent or burnt valve.

You may be able to tell by putting air pressure into the cylinder and listening to where it comes out; intake, exhaust or oil fill.
