I went to get in my car to take care of some stuff and my car wouldn't start. It was weird because when I turned the key all the lights in the dash turned on but it wouldn't start. I jumped it and the EPC light was still on. I turned it off then back on again hoping that would clear ir but no go.

I went around the block and the Volt gauge I put in dipped to 11.8 when I was at a light. WTF????

What is the EPC light and what is wrong when it is on? Why is my volt meter dipping down? It can't be the battery, I just bought it 2 months ago and it's a Yellow Top Optimus. Those batterys are suppose to be the sheot.

The EPC is the "drive-by-wire" gizmo. It's the unit that is directly connected to the gas pedal. Sorry - that's the extent of my knowledge on this. Others, I'm sure, will chime in.

The car isn't in limp mode that's for sure. I took it for a test drive and I was able to burn through first gear and chirp second. I don't get it :???:

Hmm, I will have to give my ride a good overhaul tomorrow to see if there is a blow fuse or a blown light. Thanks for the info BlueWagon. I can't find my owners manual so I can't look it up.
